Configure approved email senders
Restrict intake to approved senders and manage the addresses and domains allowed to send orders in.

The approved sender controls live in Settings, under Approved senders.
Turn it on
Choose Approved senders only. The choice saves immediately and applies to the next message that arrives.
With Approved senders only chosen and no rules added, every incoming email is rejected. Add your senders first.
Choose Allow anyone to go back to accepting anything sent to your intake address.
Add a sender
- With Approved senders only chosen, find Add approved sender.
- Enter either an exact address,
purchasing@acme.com, or a whole domain,@acme.com. - Choose Add.
Domain rules need the leading @ — that is what tells them apart from an
address. Capitalisation does not matter.
The rule appears in the list below and takes effect for the next message.
Remove a sender
Choose Remove beside the rule. It stops applying immediately. Orders already created are unaffected.
What to add
If buyers send directly, add each buyer’s address, or their domain if several people there send orders.
If you forward from your own mailbox, what matters is the address the message appears to come from when it reaches PO Autopilot. Some forwarders preserve the original sender; others rewrite it to your own mailbox. If yours rewrites, a rule for your own forwarding address is the one that works.
Test this rather than assuming. Choose Approved senders only, send one real order through the route your buyers use, and confirm it arrives.
What rejection looks like
Nothing. No order, no failed order, no bounce. From the sender’s side the message simply disappears.
